How to stop a crying baby?

How can I make my baby eat solid food again?
My baby girl is almost 10 months old and for the past month she won’t eat her jarred baby food. I try to make her eat just a little bit, but she won’t sit still long enough for me to feed her and acts uninterested in it even though I KNOW she is hungry. I try to give her different kinds, so I know that she’s not bored with the flavours. So all she eats now is those rice rusk things and her formula. I afraid that she’s not get all the nutrients she needs. She ate her jarred food just fine and loved it since she was about 4 months old. How can I get her interested in her food again?
Why do they put allergenic foods in baby food?
I am trying to keep allergenic foods away from my 7 month old daughter, as I’ve read there are many foods she shouldn’t have until her first birthday. Why then do baby food companies put strawberries, egg whites, citrus, and milk products in baby foods if babies aren’t supposed to eat them?

What age did you start your baby on the 1st age baby food? My son is almost (in a few days) 5 months old (I know its a little early but he eats so much formula, I thought I might try and see how he takes it, and maybe supplement a bottle or two with the baby food) and I’ve started giving it to him, and he was doing really well until I gave him carrots. I think that may have constipated him. So when did you start feeding your baby the 1st age baby foods, and what foods did they like or dislike, or had negative reactions to?
How does diet and other aspects influence sperm, thereby affecting the health of a baby?
So, my wife and I are trying to have our second child, but I want to know how my diet and such affects the sperm, which would then affect the baby? Is what the mom eats and does during pregnancy always more impact on the health of the baby? I am a non smoker and don’t drink any alcohol and have a fairly healthy diet, not A+, but above a C I would say. I am just wondering how all this affects the babies health via me?
How much baby food is the right amount?
My 8 month old daughter is eating stage 2 baby foods. I have looked in my books for specific amounts on how much to feed her but the books only say take out only enough for what you will use. With a 4 oz jar I take out 10-15 baby spoonfuls of food which is about 1/2 the jar and then give her formula after wards. She seems happy and full and is gaining weight so I must be doing something right. Any suggestions from the moms here.
What can I do to help my baby stop crying at night when I’m not home?
I live in a 2 bedroom condo with my 17 year old sister (very responsible and mature) and 8 month old baby girl. I work at a motel as a desk clerk so I leave at 4 p.m. and come home at 11:45. My baby cries for me at night though and she screams so my neighbor calls the police!! I know they’d think that someone was hurting the baby but he’s done it 5 times in the last 2 weeks! I’ve lived in the condo for 6 months, on the 18th floor for 4 months and on the 12th floor for 2 months. Ever since I’ve moved in he’s hated me. I’m italian, he’s indian and I have no problem with him, he just doesn’t like me. I’ve complained too but it’s not working. I would like to stop working until 11:30 (I reach home at 11:45) but I really need the money for my baby’s toys and groceries. Before I used to work from 8 a.m. to 2:30 but I get good tip at night. I don’t use the money on me a lot, mostly on my sister and baby. What do I do to help my baby stop crying at night when I’m not home but my sister is?
